The NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR) has initiated plans to establish HIV research priorities and develop the next strategic plan to guide HIV research at NIH. This plan guides the largest public investment in HIV research, building on scientific progress and opportunities for advancing research to end the HIV pandemic.
OAR has issued a Request for Information (RFI) as one source of input to inform development of the FY 2026‒2030 NIH Strategic Plan for HIV and HIV-Related Research. The RFI is open until March 28, 2024.
