About St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

In 1987, an HIV program was established at St Jude to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral health care to children and youth living with HIV at no charge. The Mid-South region, particularly Memphis and surrounding Shelby County, has been identified as a hotspot for HIV infections in the US, with rates over twice as high as other regions. The St. Jude HIV Program, alongside community partners, is committed to ending the HIV epidemic (EndHIV901.org).
