Bridge HIV, San Francisco Department of Public Health

Bridge HIV is a global leader in HIV prevention research, working with Bay Area and international communities to discover effective HIV prevention strategies. Operating as a clinical trials unit within the San Francisco Department of Public Health and affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), we conduct innovative research that guides global approaches in HIV prevention. As we search for innovative solutions to guide HIV prevention, we continue to conduct clinical trials of promising strategies to understand their effectiveness and safety across different populations at risk for HIV infection. These strategies include the search for an effective HIV vaccine, PrEP (Pre–Exposure Prophylaxis), HIV self-testing, mHealth and interventions to help achieve health equity.
